Just another day

Reached school earlier than any other day. It was lucky that the bus arrived the moment I reach the bus stop today =) I guess that bus was too early as none of the BMSS students board the bus at all... and thus I was the only Merahan alighting the bus.

Was surprised that I wasn't as sleepy as I thought I would be today as I slept at 1am yesterday night! Sure, I felt drowsy during Social Studies class and a little during Physics lesson but it wasn't as bad as the other days where I usually slept at 11pm. Weird, isn't it?

Life is depressing for me..

Sigh. This 'depressing' mood is coming back to me again =( Used to have it last time, then it went away, but still, it 'visits' me often.

Sometimes I wonder why, but I just can't figure out why I feel depressed for no reason? Maybe I know the reason but I just can't accept the fact... =/ Guess I might have to have a heart-to-heart chat with my close friends again...

Sometimes, I really wish that ' --- ' (someone) will know about this. Last time, not long ago, it might be the best time to tell ' --- ' . But now, I think there's no point telling ' --- ' about it anymore. The energy consumption is so huge that I almost couldn't breathe.

` -- ( ' --- ' is only meant for my close friends to know. If you aren't, please don't ask who is it)

Reflections of an article from Reader's Digest (August)

And Sophie Makes Four
This article is about a family adopting a baby chimpanzee which they named it 'Sophie'. A few weeks after Sophie was adopted, Oliver, the child of the zookeeper who adopted Sophie, was born. Oliver and Sophie were raised together like siblings. They played together and were very close.

However, Sophie is still a chimpanzee and has to go back to the zoo one day. The family managed to keep Sophie at a zoo and was to be looked after by a gentle huge male chimpanzee call Nicky. However, one day, Sophie was found on the floor with blood in her mouth! Nicky had hit her in the face!

I think that if Sophie could stay with the family and continue playing with Oliver, she might not have to suffer that much. However, chimpanzees have to live with their own kind as that is who they should be with. Later on in the article, the writer wrote that Sophie eventually stayed with the other chimpanzees in a sanctury.

Saved by a Whisker

This article is about a cat who dived into a garbage disposal and got stuck. It dived inside as the author's husband, Rich, threw a smoked salmon skin inside. The family then called the plumber. However, they couldn't dislodge the cat, Rudy. Then, the author called a pest removal service and the vet but to no avail. When she saw that Rudy's normally pink paw pads were turning blue, she called the emergency phone number. The dispatcher offered to send over two policemen.

One of the policemen, Mike, bought them to the emergency veterinary clinic. The clinic staff then sedated Rudy. At 3 a.m, the vet tld them that Rudy has been freed and will have a full recovery. Officer Tom came in just in time to hear the good news.

I think that the officers who helped the cat by bringing it (and the family) to the emergency veterinary clinic are concerned about people and stuffs even though it doesn't belong to them. A more friendly society would form if there are more of such people.

Carjacked

"Take the car," she pleaded. "Just let me get my kids"

This article is about a women driving her car with her childrens at the back seats along a road one day. Then, this guy, Carl Jones, carjacked her as she lowered the window panes. The women was thrown out of the driver's seat. She tried to free her son but his hand was caught in the shoulder harness. Out of time, she pushed her son back and closed the door just before the car sped off.

I think that this women's motherly love is beyond words. She rather let the thief take away the car than to let her childrens get into any harm, which I believe any mother would do so.

It was really terrible that Carl Jones would carjack a car with children. I hope that he would serve as a warning to the other carjackers and show that justice has long arms.

Tiring Wednesday

Today was teachers day celebrations. We had mass jog early in the morning. As usual, I suffered from muscle cramps again as I did not warm up before I start running.

After the mass jog, there was a short cake cutting ceremony. The games followed up next. There were people playing soccer, captain's ball and badminton. Me and Stefen went around watching the games. We walked for about 2 hours until our legs got tired.

We were dismissed at 11. Me and Stefen went back to our primary school. There, I was surprised that I don't seem to remember some people even though they're in my batch! I just.. don't seem to have seen them before.

After spending some time at Stamford, me and Stefen went to the Macdonald at Bugis Village for our lunch. He treated me to a drink! Isn't he so sweet? =)

After having our lunch, Stefen went to GWC to meet his friend while I went back to Stamford. I met my friends there - Winna, Lai Qiang, Chiau Lee, Fabian, Julio, Kian Hong, Wei Sheng, Shirley, Wai Leong. All of them were my classmates in P6. We went to Bugis as some kind of 'class gathering'.

There, we walked round and round Seiyuu and Parco Bugis Junction. My legs got tired easily as it has not fully 'recovered' from the 'exercise' earlier this morning.

At Bugis, we saw Wei Kee, another classmate. We walked until all of our legs got tired. So, we went to an area at the movie ticketing booth and sat down. However, after awhile, this guy came and chased us away. oh well..

I decided to go home at around 4. My leg was getting too tired for me to handle.

Horrible Tuesday

'There is no free lunch in the world'. Even feelings too. Yesterday was such a good day for me but today, it was SO horrible. I don't see good things happening to me after a bad incident, but bad things always happen to me after something good happen. Argh. I'm so plagued with sadness... =(

Fun Monday!

It's been a long time since the last 'fun Monday'! I havan't felt so joyful for a long time already!

Well, it started off as a bad morning. I woke up very late =( Usually, I would leave my house at 6.30am but today, I woke up at 6.30am! omg~ Just before I reach the bus stop, 139 came! The bus stop was still some distance away and so I couldn't catch the bus. Luckily, 147 came minutes later. In the end, I arrived at school in time! Phew!

After school, there was a Chemistry Retest. When I looked at the paper, I found out, to my horror, that I couldn't remember anything at all! Even the simple water and heat equations! x.x I think this test would turn out to be worser than the previous one..

After the test, me and 6 other people went to KFC to have our lunch. It was sort of fun as it is my first time having lunch with some of them. Through the lunch, we somehow got to know each other better ;) (oh and this is probably the reason why I felt that its fun today =] )

Finally

After 1 or 2 weeks of break, there's finally Band practice today!

I was really looking forward towards it as I missed my instrument tremendously. However, we were told that the conductor would be late and we would have to practice a piece with our sections. The worst part is that I don't have the scores and I couldn't get it as the scores has already been returned.. so, I had to share with the Flutes section (And its so tough reading their notes! It's all so high!)

After a few hours, the conductor came and we did sight reading. It wasn't so bad..

We fall out just before 6pm... its so tiring. By the time i reach home, it was nearing 7pm already... What a busy day for me.

National + Speech Day Celebrations

Today, the school celebrated National Day and Speech Day. Unfortunately, it rained a little this morning and thus, the celebrations was held in the hall instead of the Merahan Square.

From the 3 pieces of pieces that we were suppose to play for the National Day celebrations, it turned into 1 piece, which is the National Anthem.

After the National Day celebrations, we had a short break and soon, we, the Band members, were waiting at the area next to the school hall, ready to enter the stage after the Dance item finishs.

The celebrations came quickly and ended quickly. We were practicing it for a long time and it just went off in a few minutes time. The key to performing is not to be nervous. =)

After the celebrations, me and some of my friends went out to Tiong Bahru to take our lunch. It was such a coincidence that me, Chui Kiang and Pearlyn were wearing pink tops (no, we didn't arrange to wear pink tops =) ) but shumei's top was black.

I sort of hate people who always jump to conclusions. If they already have a definate answer in their mind, why bother asking me? After asking me a question, I'm always not given a chance to answer and she would just tell me the 'answer' that she thinks that I would say. I really hate such people.

Just another Day...

Sunday is almost drawing to an end and tomorrow is finally the day where the school celebrates National Day and Speech Day. =)

I'm so down on my luck. Just when the 'big day' is nearing, the reed that I have been using for my instrument cracked a little and it is making my notes sound flater.. =( I'm so off tune now...

I was online for about the whole day today and many of my friends did not sign in... wonder what are they doing...

Have to sleep early today as I have to wake up early tomorrow! Goodnight everyone. =)

Blogging VS Journal

I think that to me, both blogging and writting a journal has its own advantages and disadvantages.

For Blogging

Advantages: I can finish my 'diary' faster as I can type faster and it can be easily acessed at my home.

Disadvantages: I wouldn't really type things that are too personal as I wouldn't know who are reading them.

For Journal Writting:

Advantages: Only me and the teacher who marks my journal knows what is written (unless some other people peeps into it) and so the level of privacy is higher.

Disadvantages: Longer time is needed as I write slowly. Also, I cannot write what has happened to me for that day is my journal book is not with me.

--------------------------------------
Over in all, I would prefer blogging as it is easier for me to access. To make up for its low-privacy level, I would probably keep my blog in low profile by asking my friends not to link to my personal blog and not to tell anyone else.
